VANAKKAM, KARAIKAL.

Billing software for Karaikal’s shops & restaurants.

A scanned product. A second round at the table. A clear account of the day’s cash. Start with the work your team needs to do, bro.

Bill Pondy offers a white-label Posnic POS setup with its restaurant module. Enquire from Karaikal town, Kottucherry, Neravy, T.R. Pattinam, Nedungadu or Thirunallar. Our listed office is in Puducherry; agree the demo, installation and support arrangements for your exact address before choosing a setup.

Which billing workflow fits your business?

A retail counter starts with products and quantities. A dine-in restaurant also needs to keep an order open while the kitchen prepares food. A bakery or café may need both. Choose the tasks to demonstrate before comparing equipment or quotes.

Swipe the table, or focus it and use arrow keys, to read all columns.

Shop billing and restaurant POS: what to check
CounterWorkflow to demonstrate
Retail shopProduct lookup, barcode entry and stock.
Scan two similar sizes, sell a known quantity and find the movement in stock history.
Dine-in restaurantOpen tables, kitchen tickets and payment.
Add a later round to one of two open tables. Check the KOT, then settle the correct order.
Takeaway, café or bakeryOrder entry, preparation and collection.
Separate ready-to-sell items from items the kitchen prepares. Confirm which actions print a kitchen ticket and which print a customer bill.
Daily closeSales, payments and unsettled orders.
Trace a known transaction through the reports and distinguish physical cash from recorded digital payments.

Explore the full shop billing or restaurant billing workflow. The demo should confirm the installed Bill Pondy version, enabled modules and actual devices; the parent product’s feature list alone does not confirm your setup.

Bring one complete working example.

For a shop, bring five products: a regular seller, a different pack size, an item without a barcode, a damaged label and an item you sell in multiple quantities. Try the scanner and manual lookup, complete the sale, then find the receipt and changed stock.

For a restaurant, bring a short menu and your table names. Open two sample orders, send a kitchen ticket, add a later dish to just one order and inspect the new ticket. Settle that order and check that the other remains open. Use the restaurant demo checklist to record what worked and what needs another demonstration.

Finish either example with a known payment total. A saved UPI entry is not bank confirmation. Compare recorded payments with the appropriate receipt or provider record, and count physical cash separately. The cash-closing example and calculator show how to check one drawer manually.

Agree the Karaikal setup before opening day.

Share the full business address, locality and a useful landmark when arranging service. These locality pages are enquiry routes, not branch locations. Bill Pondy’s listed office is at No.151&152, South Boulevard, opp. Railway station, MG Road Area, Puducherry, 605001.

  1. Demo and installation: agree whether each step will happen remotely, at the Puducherry office or through a separately arranged visit. Record the date, who will attend and the agreed installation tasks.
  2. Computer and printers: send the model, operating system, connection type and paper width. Include the kitchen printer as well as the receipt printer. Confirm compatibility with the devices you will use before buying replacements. Record the result on the hardware test worksheet.
  3. Opening data: decide who prepares products or menu items, counted stock and required customer or supplier records. Test a small sample first using the migration guide.
  4. Training and first close: name the cashier and owner who will practise a sale, a correction, printing and the closing routine. Agree who handles questions during the first live shift.
  5. Later support: confirm contact hours, remote access arrangements, possible site visits and who will respond to each type of issue. For a local desktop setup, agree backup ownership and prove a restore on a separate test system.

Bill Pondy software costs ₹6,000 per year. No setup fee or additional software fees. Record the equipment, data preparation, training and support arrangements in a written scope; the software price does not establish which hardware you need. The billing software cost guide explains the annual price and includes a setup worksheet you can use alongside the agreed support arrangements.
