Choose an office discussion or ask about a site visit
Customers can meet Bill Pondy staff at the South Boulevard office, and staff also visit customers by arrangement. Share your address and requirements before agreeing a time. A site visit, installation or training session needs its own confirmed scope; contact us to confirm the appointment and the work to be covered.
No.151&152, South Boulevard, opp. Railway station, MG Road Area, Puducherry, 605001The supplied landmark is opposite the railway station. Use directions to the office and call before travelling. We are open Every day, 9:00 am–6:00 pm IST. Call to arrange a demo or a staff visit.
For an on-site discussion, include the building or shop name, street, locality and a useful landmark. Describe equipment that cannot easily be brought to the office, especially a fixed kitchen printer or several linked counters. Staff can then discuss what the visit needs to cover.
Bring evidence of your actual counter
Swipe the table, or focus it and use arrow keys, to read all columns.
| Business | Bring | Ask to demonstrate |
|---|---|---|
| Retail shop | Five sample products, including similar pack sizes and one without a usable barcode. | Product lookup, quantity, a saved bill and the resulting stock movement. |
| Dine-in restaurant | A short menu, table names and the kitchen stations that need tickets. | Two open tables, a later round, the correct KOT and final settlement. |
| Café or bakery | A mix of ready-to-sell goods and made-to-order items. | Which items go straight to the bill and which need a preparation instruction. |
| Existing POS user | A non-sensitive sample export and a list of current devices. | Product matching, a sample import, printer compatibility and a recovery plan. |
Use sample records instead of bringing an unrestricted customer database. Do not include passwords or payment credentials in an enquiry. The buying guide helps identify the requirements worth testing before you compare quotes.
Follow one transaction beyond the receipt
At a shop demo, start with ten sample units of a product and sell two. Ask where the sale appears and how the stock view explains the remaining quantity. Then inspect the relevant payment record. This joins billing, stock and reporting in one observable example rather than treating each screen as a separate feature claim.
For a restaurant, open two training tables and add a second round to only one. Check the kitchen instruction and settle the intended table while the other stays open. If a ticket is uncertain, work through the KOT retry and reprint checklist before sending another preparation instruction.
Keep software behaviour separate from physical devices and bank confirmation. A bill saved in the POS does not establish that every printer works, and a recorded digital payment is not the same as checking its provider record. Use the hardware worksheet and manual cash-closing example for those separate checks.
Leave with an agreed setup and handover list
Write down the software edition, enabled modules, number of counters, equipment and data preparation included in the discussion. Identify who will train the cashier, who approves configuration and who reviews the first live close. Bill Pondy software costs ₹6,000 per year. No setup fee or additional software fees. Record the equipment and agreed working arrangements separately so the annual software price is clear.
Before changing a working till, keep an original export and rehearse with a small sample. Agree the opening-stock moment and how outstanding balances will be checked. The migration guide explains those decisions. A local computer also needs a separate copy and a tested restore plan.
Bill Pondy is a white-label Posnic POS offering with its restaurant module. Product documentation helps prepare questions; the demonstration and written scope establish the particular setup being offered to you. Confirm support contact hours, visit arrangements and the person responsible for each installation task.
